What Others Have to Say…

“It is an honor and privilege for me to introduce to you Russell Stolp.  Since Bro. Stolp and his wife joined our church I have had the joy of getting personally acquainted with him.  I have found him to be a man of his word and of good character.  Bro. Stolp has successfully pastored two Independent Baptist churches.  Through recently retired from pastoring, he is still active and available to preach mission conferences, revivals as well as fill pulpits.  I have on several occasions asked him to preach in my absence and each time he has done a marvelous job.

Bro. Stolp is also a prolific writer and has recently felt led of God to begin a ministry that will eventually network with other retired preachers, to produce materials that will help encourage and advance the cause of Christ in our Independent Baptist churches.  I have personally read some of the messages and outlines and was impressed with the material he will be making available.  I am honored to be his pastor as well as Cornerstone being his sending church. I hope you will take advantage of his years of experience and knowledge of God’s Word.”

Terry L. Randolph, Founder and Senior Pastor, Cornerstone Baptist church, Phoenix, AZ.

“I have known Brother Stolp for quite a number of years, and have seen him hold steadfastly to the Biblical message, and principles. I have seen the Lord use him to bring a church from a deep depression to a place of revival, and an increase in mission giving. He will be a tremendous blessing in preaching, and in encouraging other pastors.”

Bill Burkholder, retired  Director of Messianic Witness Missions, Kansas City, KS.

“I first met Pastor Russell Stolp in the early 60′s while in college. His consistent love for Christ and work of the ministry has kept us close down through the years.   Donna and I are excited about this new venture and commend it highly to all who use it.”

Ernie Lundy,  Evangelist, Greenville,  SC.

“Russell Stolp is a faithful man of God who will always be known to me as ‘My Pastor.’ It was under his preaching and teaching of the Bible that I was trained to become a fruitful Pastor in Maine over the last 38 years.  He continues to be a jovial, trustworthy friend, a great example of a soldier in the good fight of faith; a prayer warrior and dedicated servant of Jesus Christ.”

– Stuart Hilton, Senior Pastor, South Gardiner Baptist Church, South Gardiner, ME.

“I am writing to recommend this ministry of Brother Russell Stolp. I have known Brother Stolp for almost 30 years and know of this man’s love for the Lord and genuine concern for souls. One of the things that impress me the most about Brother Stolp is that he just won’t stop. Many people in their later years retire; he just retreads. He continues even in his later years to serve our wonderful Lord. After having pastored two churches and ministering to thousands of people, he continues to encourage other people in the ministry. I believe that all fundamental Pastors, Missionaries, Evangelists, and teachers would benefit from this ministry of Brother Stolp. I know this ministry will be a blessing to all.”

Bob Landis, MTT Ministries Inc., Greenville, SC

“Russell Stolp is one of the most positive, forward-looking men of God I have ever known.  His many years of pastoral experience and deep commit-ment to the fundamentals of the faith uniquely qualify him for the office of mentor and counselor to pastors and churches.  I know because I am one of his ‘preacher boys’ from thirty years ago.  He has been a true friend and encouragement through the years.  You can trust him with your pulpit even in your absence.

Milton E. Jones, Senior Pastor, Heritage Baptist Church, Manhattan, IL.

“It has been my privilege to know Russell Stolp for more than 30 years.   During that time God has placed him in various difficult locations.  In each place he found the sheep were scattered and in poor pastures.  Russell Stolp was the shepherd with a tender, kind, loving heart, which they desperately needed.  In short order the sheep were united and happy that God had given them a shepherd that would lead them into green pastures.  Their thirst was quenched because the shepherd provided still waters and a safe fold”.

Kenny McComas, Evangelist, Rittman, OH.

“I have known Russell Stolp since high school days.  Having known Russell all of these years, I can truthfully give an unqualified recommendation of him and his ministry. He and his wife Jo Ann  have demonstrated the qualities of a shepherd and his wife all through their pastoral and evangelistic ministries.  Brother Stolp is Biblical in his preaching. He is gentle in his work, but he can be strong when needed.Brother Stolp is a proven brother.  I whole heartedly recommend him to you.”
