Jer. 5:25 – “Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.” 2 Chron 7:14 – “If my people , which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.â€?

There are four things in these verses that will do us good to consider.

3.  The People.

The verse following our text says – “. . . among my people are found wicked men.” My people.  We can talk about our bars, honky-tonks and dens of sin; we can talk about crooked men in politics and government.   But God says – “If I can get my people to do right, I can solve the problem.” II Chron. 7:14 – “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

We don’t need Evangelistic Campaigns – What we need is revival among God’s people.
