John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
No Christian can enter into the depths of the Christian life until he comes to a full assurance of his salvation. No Christian can be fully used of God until he comes to a full assurance of his salvation. If one has doubts of his own salvation, he cannot communicate a living, vital faith to others. He cannot give a sound note of victory.
Yet there are untold multitudes that have no certain assurance of their salvation. Those who are in the church of Rome, and also those within the Protestant Church there are those who say nothing beyond the fact that they “hope” they will be saved. They are trying. They are doing their best. They say no one can know for sure. Even within the membership of Baptist churches there are those who have all kinds of doubts.
There are whole denominations who teach that it is possible to lose your salvation, teaching that it is possible to be un-born after being born again, Teaching that it is possible to be a part of the body of Christ and then be severed from it.
Well, in this series we will see what the Bible really has to say about this subject.
