Acts 2:17 – “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:”

It is essential to prepare us for the coming of the Lord. The Holy Spirit came into the world on the day of Pentecost to gather out the bride for Christ. When this task is completed and every member of the bride of has been saved, the Spirit will return to where He came. When Christ comes down, the Spirit in the bride will go up to present her to the heavenly Bridegroom.

No one can ascend on his own merits. The only manner in which any person can ascend is by the power of the Spirit. When the Spirit goes up at the rapture, He of necessity must take all up in whom He dwells.

This blessed fact should stir every person so that he will strive to be in that number, being filled with the Spirit. Every person that is born again can be filled with the Spirit. Every born again person has the Holy Spirit within and will go to heaven. But not every born again person is filled with the power of the Spirit. And without this power, we are not really prepared for His coming.
