Welcome to the Nuggets Of Gold friends:
We are still moving onward and upward and staying very busy. Since our last letter, we have been in services in Tucson, AZ, Safford, AZ, Cottonwood, AZ, and Phoenix, AZ. In the next few weeks we are already booked to be in Coolidge, AZ, Apache Junction, AZ, Arizona City, AZ, Buckeye, AZ and Florence, AZ. We, also, have several pending cities, just waiting to set the dates on their calendars. Then along the way, we are planning on attending the Arizona Pastor’s Fellowship meeting in Prescott, AZ.
A blessed update – Jo Ann and I are no longer seeking to raise support for ourselves. We now receive a small stipend from Nuggets Of Gold (of only $650.00 a month, at the present time) to supplement our Social Security. However, we are driving hard to raise support for Nuggets Of Gold to continue to be a blessing of Spiritual encouragement and help for pastors, churches, and their people for years to come. Pastors just need a little break once in a while to get their own spiritual batteries charged. Nuggets Of Gold can do this by simply filling the pulpit for a Sunday or Wednesday. We can, also, give the people encouragement and a lift by holding a missions, Bible, Family, or prophecy conference. The more fresh, excited, and encouraged, the pastor and the people of the church stay, the more they will become soul winning centers.
Another service that we offer is that if a church is looking for a pastor, we will be glad to meet with the pulpit committee and share a complete prototype of the process of finding the right candidate without wasted time and money to find the right man, and not waste time and money in messing around with someone who does not fit the bill by not being on the same page with the church. Doing this on Saturday night gives the opportunity of preaching three times on Sunday, thereby letting the love offering help pay of this service, because we usually charge for this service, travel expenses (car at IRS rate of .585 cents per mile plus meals and motel expense plus love offering for all the material and instructions, answering questions, etc at the meeting with the pulpit committee. This way the pulpit committee knows whoever they bring as a candidate already is on the same page with the church in every way. The only thing left is, is he the one God would have to be the Undershepherd of the church? This assures the church that the pulpit committee has done their home work and the candidate already stands in agreement with the doctrinal stand and the standards of the church.

PS – Please pray with us for a well experienced man to come on board as the Director that could carry this much needed ministry on for years and years to come. Maybe there is a pastor out there within the state of Arizona, with many years in the ministry, who may be praying about retiring, but would even dare to pray about this position.
